Anyone live in a big unfriendly city that you weren't born in? How do get on?

I'm in a city, it has a reputation for being unfriendly, and I wasn't born here. Sort of alone a lot of the time.

I've realised I sort of need community in my life. Gets lonely, and one day merges into the next without much happening.

Any other guys out there in same boat and what do you do about it?

Join an activity club. Do you have a meet up groups in your city? It's an app that has many different group activities.

You have to get after it. Big cities won't do the work for you. There are plenty of events and groups for you to join. I moved from a small city to the largest Metro in the United States. You have to take life into your own hands.
