"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Any of you guys ever had success with this site? I've had one success with it but it only ended up being a 2 month open relationship. I post ads on there pretty often but rarely get any responses. I keep wondering if it's because of the way I post my ad. I guess it's because there are much less women than men on there.

All I do is simply be honest about who I am but try to turn the negative things about me into positive things. Physically, I know I am attractive. The only bad thing physically is that I am only 5' 7" and I know most girls like taller guys. I always say though that my athletic build makes up for that.

Anyone here have a lot of success with online dating? How do you typically post your ads? What are some good tips?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

i posted an ad once without a picture and got a couple replies from cute girls. one gave me her number but flaked.

i made a fake female profile once and got a S#ITLOAD of replies. i wouldn't have expected that much competition to exist on that site. that's why it's probably very difficult to get any results. it's probably a waste of time overall.

BlahBlah,

I've used craiglist casual encounters before ;) Not successfully though.

As far as online dating - have used it for a long time as a supplement to normal picking up of girls. Since I work on a computer as a software developer, it's easy for me to spam a ton of girls at work.

First of all, don't worry about your height. It's either a deal breaker for a girl or it isn't, but you can't do anything about it.

Your profile should demonstrate that you are a fun-loving, adventurous, man. Throw in some humor and use clever/eloquent working to demonstrate your intelligence. You want to convey all the right things without having to say so explicitly. Instead of saying, "I'm smart", phrase your profile in such a way that your intelligence will be conveyed implicitly. Demonstrate your social value by mentioning your friends, e.g. "I love snowboarding with my friends". (This also shows you are active) Mention how important your family is to you. (Optional) Reveal a sensual side - this is tricky to pull off but if you phrase it correctly, you can really get them wet before they meet you.

Someone on here (forget who) posted a profile they were using and it was pretty sensual and smooth (a bit over the top but bits and pieces were good).

This is what I would've posted earlier, but wanted to get some comments on it first:

First off, I'm not here to impress anyone.

So yeah, I'll admit it. I'm a big geek. :) I love anything to do with computers. I like creating websites and programming. It is the field I work in as well. While I have the engineer spirit in me, I also have a huge appreciation for the arts. I could spend hours at an art gallery or spend hours working on a drawing or painting. I really like to travel as well whether it is with a destination in mind or just driving aimlessly. I am also pretty devoted to weight-lifting at the gym. I like the challenge. Physically, I am: 5'7", athletic build, green eyes, and brown hair. I think of myself as pretty attractive.

I would like a girl who shares some things in common. As long as you are interesting to talk to, open-minded, and have a good sense of humor, you're in. Physically, a thin, athletic, or average build would be acceptable. I take care of my body so I would expect that you do as well.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Yeah I figured it was like 85% guys and 15% girls on there. Also, there seems to be more older women than younger women, and since I am 22, well...

Not to say that I have had successes with it before, but it's mighty hard to find them online.

It's all about your pic. I've used it with some success. Also don't describe yourself. I have posted a pic and just said "will you go out with me?" and I get better responses than anything you can write without a pic. Sometimes I will joke around and say I am a huge jerk or say I'm looking for a girl with a ton of money. You need a pic to get a decent # of responses though. You can blur your face for privacy reasons too lol, girls will go for the bod if you have a nice one, but I don't mean taking your shirt off either.

Just remember Craigslist is a FREE site, and full of people too cheap to pay for something like E-Harmony. Also I've noticed that many (75%) of the girls are BBWs.

I've tried it a couple times and was very disapointed in the quality of men that responded. Be prepared!

E-harmony is THE worst dating site ever! On the top of charging lots of money, you don't even see the pictures of the women you are talking with. Tnen when you actually do get to see them...you'll be sorry!

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
