There is no basic difference in human nature, play the triggers and do it your way. Show them your way and give them a good experience, remember you're not trying to win them. If they don't like it they have sorted themselves out as bad quality.

@op, I dated a half-german. Their respond very well to hyper masculinity, the one I had was pretty funny, cute, decently hot. They look up to their fathers and usually have strong familial, if only paternal bonds. They are looking for someone to substitute for their father figure, someone who'll tell them what to do, etc. But emphasis on this, the key is to embody masculinity, they respond very well to it. I dont recommend them for marriage but only for ****buddy status, someone to enjoy yourself with when you have free time. WHEN YOU SHOW THE SLIGHTLY HINT OF BEING A BETA, and/hand over the power to HER, she will cut you out. or worse. use you. I've seen her do it and she could be a cold-hearted *****. Oh and they admire ambition, strong direction in life. Their culture demands you be masculine, she wont expect less. Phew long post.

edit: also they're pretty fkin tall, idk if its only the one I had and the others I observed or a common trait amongst them.

I live in Germany, and I can tell you that there aren't really any huge differences in culture. Although I do know that German girls tend to be a lot more open, sexually. Compared to American girls I'd have to say they are definitely not as stuck up and easier to have a good time with, a lot less *****y-ness in general.

Also the black fetish is fairly common. I know quite a few that are into black guys.

I lived in Germany for a year before moving to United Kingdom 3 years ago.

I was married to a German woman and lived in Germany for 3 months before she was became full blown BPD. Then while I was in United Kingdom I had a 6 month relationship with another German woman who lived with me.

I suppose I am in the place to give advice about real German women (from Europe and not Americanized living in United States). I don't like to generalize but here's what I think makes them different than other European and American women I have known:

* As an overall culture, Germans are quite cold exterior wise and not very friendly to non-German speakers. Trying to get on a German woman's good side (if she is TRUE German living in Germany or Europe), you usually need to speak German unless she has exceptional English (and if it sucks the accent is horrible).

* German women are typically more educated and smart/intelligent than other European women I been with. This can also backfire because you have to be on your toe all the time due to their high intelligence (who knows what their 1,000,000 hamsters are strategizing behind your back).

* Germans (women or not) carry the history and sinful memory of a nation in their subconcious. Having been with German women, they often mention how they are still quietly ashamed of their ancestry as Nazi reign in the past. This somehow shows in their culture in the extreme nature - where they appear to be proud and prideful of being Germans, but deep down they are all still suffering from a shameful identity as a nation.

* German women tend to be pretty bland and lack sense of humour over other Europeans. A better term is boring.

* The German women I been with tend to be very tight knitted with their family (mother, father, whatever is left). This can also get in the way of finding their own voice as an adult and hinders relationships.

* Physically German women tend to be quite tall and high cheek boned. My 2nd German GF was 6' tall (I am 6'3"). I have to say that was the best fitting physical height GF I enjoyed. German women also tend to be in good shape compared to the American women but not that much different to other European women.


BIGGEST NEGATIVE - if you are ever curious where the term 'feminazi' comes from, it probably came from Germany. German women are highly masculinized, where the feminist movement started originally in Europe. ALL German women I been with have lacked affection and is quite masculine in their underlying personality even though they may sugarcoat it with sweetness on the surface to lure you in. Don't be fooled. They are dominating and control-freaks, you need to have your game at 100% with them.

Thanks for the all the replies. A lot of this is ringing true with my limited experience with this girl. Definitely interesting. I've been hyper masculine and she does seem to respond to that but not in the ways I'm used to. That's partly what was interesting. I wouldn't describe her as boring but there is definitely a lot of humour lost in translation. I've managed to make her laugh a fair bit though so I'll take that as a win. I'm 6'2 and she's about 6' as you've all said, tall. I've been on top of my game so far so we'll see how that goes.

I read on a post recently about giving a decent ass grab early on to gauge attraction. I put it to use with her on a 2nd date. Surprisingly great tool in the arsenal so thanks to whoever suggested that. It's a gauge and an escalation.
