"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

My lifestyle is relatively healthy. But I cannot seem to quit my diet soda addiction and have been averaging about a few cans a day for about a decade now.

Scientific studies are fairly inconclusive. Even WHO only classes it as a possible carcinogen. Some animal studies have suggested it can disrupt the gut microbiome. There are a lot of anecdotal reports of every symptom under the sun. And the scaremongers have a quite persuasive history of shoddy early studies, political gamesmanship that got it approved and then industry funded studies that demonstrated safety while independent studies tended to raise doubts.
And there is the suggestion that the free amino acids are neurotoxic while the methanol can accumulate and cause cellular damage and poisoning.
Not to mention there is something uncomfortable about being so addicted to something.

Any success stories of quitting and seeing major benefits?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I don't drink ANY form of "trad" soda. No cola seven-up or anything similar. Not too long ago I went through some hardship , stopped working out and ate badly including drinking soda...gained 5 kilo ( 10 ish pounds) in 4 weeks..

Drinks are a difficult beast to tame. Juice isn't necessarily as great as we think. Tea and coffee with sugar is also bad.

Syrup is what I mostly drink(in Europe we have syrup you can add water to) but it's not ideal. Coffee and tea with honey.

Best is the extremely boring water only route tho
..if it contains sugar your fecked, if it contains sugar AND bubbles you're double fecked.

Hi Gamisch,
When you are pushing your trolley in the Super Market, take a squizz at the Folk with Coke in their trolley...They are invariably Fat...I have an abundance of Lemons and Limes from my trees, aware of the need to hydrate myself in hot weather I squeeze a little into the glass, makes it more interesting...If you drink a lot of water don't forget to increase your salt intake.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Aspartame is a derivative of a fixative used for enbalming. That alone should put you off. Studies on rodents in the 70s found it was highly carcinogenic (around 50% of the animals and from brain cancers.) It was shelved until saccaharine became implicated as carcinogenic in the early 80s. Then the FDA allowed it to be essentially approved with industry studies (with lots of confirmation bias). Very dirty process getting that as an industry substitute for sacchrine.

The only non toxic sugar alternative is stevia leaf but it is expensive & many don't like the taste.

My first husband's uncle was height/weight proportionate but drank 10-12 Diet Cokes with aspartame daily for years. Guess what killed him: Inoperable brain cancer. Anecdotal, yes. But I never let my children touch aspartame sweetened products (and I work in medical research) and I never buy them sodas at all. The food supply in Europe is much safer than in US because EU countries take additives and chemicals much more seriously than FDA who is heavily lobbied by big food conglomerates. Its quite scary. I'm a laisse fair capitalist and find it alarming.

I used to drink a couple at least every day. Now maybe one a week. I don't see a difference at all.

Carbonated sugary drinks lead to weight gain. Diet drinks are most likely toxic. The stevia based drinks are rather new. Some research indicates they cause metabolic disorders similar to diabetes. I don't understand how something so sweet tasting like Cove or Zevia could not induce a insulin\blood sugar response. (possibly from a psychotropic reaction...brain senses sweet, body responds to a "sugar" stimuli).

Coffee and water FTW in minimizing waistline.

I never drink soda, but I do drink my fair share of Celsius energy drinks, which don't have artificial colors, but do have artificial sweeteners. I know some artificial sweeteners are fine and others not so much, and I do suspect they are unfairly demonized on the whole, though by no means am I implying they're perfectly okay.

Are you drinking them for the caffeine or the flavor? If it's the former just stick with coffee or tea... if it's the later, just switch to something else. I opt to drink kombucha or carrot+turmeric juice (at least the ones I can find that are low in sugar) sometimes if I want to sip on something besides water.

Dude, come on now, you are a grown up! Drink coffee, or, if you’re ready to be promoted to English, drink tea. It’s a man’s drink.
True, honestly I've always viewed soda drinkers as a bit juveline. It's literally just a bath of synthetic chemicals with carbonated water and corn syrup, and it doesn't even have much caffeine...drink kombucha if you want some zesty flavor and carbonation, or just drink black coffee/yerba mate if you're a caffeine hound.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

I do find a couple pints of Pepsi max is like a strong coffee. Think we are both right: it IS lower in caffeine but you tend to drink more . You don’t drink a quarter of a gallon of coffee.
thats why i drink energy drinks or espresso or junky black market preworkouts

Still here in Asia...the sodas they have out here don't make you fat for some reason.

But man...no wonder the West are some of the biggest populations on Earth...a Double meat burger and curly fries is not exactly the lunch of choice when it comes to nutrition.

You're probably better off drinking regular Coke than the diet stuff. But I just stick to plain old club soda when I want something effervescent.

It's morning here, and I'm literally drinking a Mountain Dew right now. The breakfast of champs lol. But the best drink of choice would still be milk or some sorta whey powdered cocoa/vanilla treat or something in that manner.

I for the most part(ill have a couple a month) have stopped all soda, which was mainly diet. But no, there's nothing I can think of.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

diet soda addiction
come to Italy for 1 month and you will learn healthy foods/eating habits.
This is not a joke.
I can see so many people from the US come here and actually say they never ate like this before.
Your life can really change.
I don't want to say we have it better, but from what people say we have a very good tasting water, and the food it's really a different taste.

ps: in that month, your don't want to visit restaurants or famous chic stuff, just get invited for lunch and dinner with other local italians, to their house.

Yes but not just soda man.. its sugars, its dessert, its tons of carbs and gluten-- and alot of focus on excercise and consuming quality nutrients. Changed my life in alot of ways and I was always "in shape".. to most from the outside looking in.. alot of our health is really based on whats going on internally.. These days even being 20% bf is not healthy.. but people don't realize it because we consider this average-- however its the quality of foods that goes in us while having the 20+% bodyfat that matters.. and most of the crap we eat here in the western world is junk.

I can easily say this about eating healthy/proper nutrition and excercise: It made me from a dude who wasn't sure of my sexual performance to living and feeling like an athlete both in the bedroom and in general life. Start now dont wait..

70% or more of the American diet is ultra processed foods. Recent research about them was a study where they tried to feed two groups roughly the same food, but one group got the processed and packaged version. The processed food group had health outcomes like they had been eating junk food, even though it was almost the same food. The act of packaging a food product for convenience (and corporate profit) and the chemical involved seem to be the culprit.

I personally prefer unsweetened sodas like La Croix. I don't even like the taste of sweetened sodas anymore (after more than 2 decades of not drinking them), they're just too sweet.

My dad had a similar experience. The mix of acid and high fructose corn syrup in soda also gave him a bunch of dental problems. Now he can't eat a lot of stuff. That high fructose corn syrup junk really should be banned or at least heavily taxed.

It would be good to isolate exactly what chemicals are causing it so that everyone can avoid it.
