Master Don Juan
I see this all the time. It used to happen at Uni lectures - the moment the professor finished off they'd race out the door as if they were busting for a piss. I'm not talking about those with me though, just the ones you see by themselves.
Cinemas too...the credits are up and BOOM out the door. I wanted to approach a table of girls after a taping of a TV show but once the producer said it was over I turned around only to see their dust. They probably raced to the car and straight off home.
It's really frustrating because sometimes this period is the only suitable time you can make a move.
I've been flirting and getting along with a hot girl at dancing classes, but last lesson I could barely believe it when I saw the door swinging closed before the applause for the teachers finished. There seems to be no other opportunity to secure the number or a date, let alone a casual drink afterwards.
Same at work: I'm at a call centre and the shifts end at 9pm. I was just closing a phonecall tonight when the clock struck nine. As I had a window seat I could see 5 or 6 chicks jostling for the doorway! The guys are more casual but still they are keen to escape, no one really talks. When do they fill in their frickin timesheets? I want to organise coffees with some of these girls but this behaviour is so antisocial I don't even feel like bothering.
Any ideas on how to handle this phenomena? Perhaps neghits or c+F lines when I next see them about why the leave so fast? Suggestions?
