I've had my eye on this cute girl for a while. I talk to her from time to time and she seems nice enough. However, it seemed I could never get any conversation going with her. At first, I thought it was due to disinterest until later I realized that she just seems very introverted.
She comes out to parties, but she just stays in a corner nursing a beer talking with one or two female friends. I've seen several dudes walk up to her, talk to her for a while and then just walk away. She's not mean or *****y. In fact she seems like a very nice girl. She's just awfully shy.
Having been a very shy person in the past, I can relate. I was once the same way. People would come up to me and be friendly, but I was so shy that I would often come off as a little cold and aloof. I didn't want to have that effect and in fact I was very outgoing and social with my small circle of friends.
I'd bet a lot of money she's probably got a lot of things to say and that she can be a fun person, but she just needs to feel a little bit more comfortable with people.
