Jake, I like you man, but come on. Who are you defending yourself from? I understand that as part of a minority you want to retain your culture and a strong community, but when people act like this, like there's some kind of war between all of the races (or between whites and minorities), it just makes it harder for everyone to get along and forget about the stereotypes. Although I disagree with your assessment that we should all just "forget" racism (that's just not a practical solution as racism is a LEARNED behavior - we can't just "fprget" it overnight or it two months. We have to work hard to catch our own subtle prejudices when it does manifest itself, and work doubly hard not to teach it to our future generations), I respect your earnest and sincere desire to try to set aside any difference we all might have. I can definatly respect that. Peace.
