Any good banks out there?

I've had accounts with Chase, Citibank, Bank of America and Washington Mutual. Of these WaMu was the best before JP Morgan gobbled it up. The rest suck so hard it is embarassing. Hidden fees. Piss poor customer service. Outright lies to my face. I'm just tired of it.

Currently considering Capital One, TD Bank and PNC for a new account. Any recommendations? Bonus points for free checking, decent online experience and overdraft protection.

Presidents choice financial (might be canada only, not sure). Free points towards groceries at superstore when you use their pc financial credit card. Not only that but if you buy your gas at the superstore gas bar you get like 6 cents per liter back in superstore bucks. All adds up fast. Perk street Financial cash is a great bank, they offer 2% cash back.

I'm with a credit union, I have a friend who make perk street seem like its the all time best bank though.

Generally, smaller is better. Pick a local bank or credit union.
