"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Tonight some chick said I look like Peyton Manning. I was too busy to bother so I said: Ok.

I've also been compared to Eminem and....Owen Wilson (which I don't consider a compliment.)

Not that it makes a difference. Just felt like making a new topic other than reading the usual whining that goes on here..

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

no, but some have said that I "have the body of a Greek God, am beautiful, etc. Others have said that I am "one in a million". :) That's plenty good enough for my ego, how about yours? :)

I get called handsome a lot by chicks I work with thought I never let that chit go to my head...actually my previous ex's friend came up to me in a bar when I just before I met her and told me: "My friend thinks you're beautiful." And my ex was pretty friggin hot. That kindof blew my mind because I consider myself an average dude.

I profusely apologize. Let's get back to our regularly scheduled whine fest. Why did the HB8.5 and 3/4ths make me wait a whole fifteen minutes to respond to my alpha texting skillzz?? Does she like me??

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Lol @ Naughty Ninja. Alpha texting skilzz :p.

A chick said I looked like Johnny Depp last week though. TBH I wasn't really moved by it, and then she asked me if I had heard that line before. I said yes I have ;).

People tell me I look like an actor all the time though. Not really a bad look to have I guess.

When I work I just wait for the girls to get drunk and see if I get any compliments and that way I'll know whether I look good or not :p. When I go out clubbing I just check to see if I register in their Reticular Activation System. If they're looking at me in the corner of their eye, lol, or if they twist their hips when they walk by me or give me a perfect view of their cleavage. I used to think it was accidental when I got a full frontal view into a girl's cleavage, but believe me when I tell you that they do it on when they like a guy.

At least 100 people have told me I look like Judge Reinhold. I've been hearing that since 1984. I used to hear Nicholas Cage all the time, at least 25 people have said that.

I've been told by quite a few people I look like a young Al Pachino...I don't really see it but I take it as a compliment.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I got told I look like Dave Chapelle back in the 6th grade. I also got told I look like Lebron James a few days ago if that counts for anything...

One in school was always saying I look like Matt Damon and another recently said I look like the guy who plays Mr. Darcy in Lost in Austen.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Some dude on Wednesday told me I look like Nomar Garciaparra. Then some girl next to him said I did, but my nose wasn't insanely large (even though I think it is on the bigger side).

One girl told me I look like Freddie Prinze Jr... eh...

It's so funny to read this post, because I actually was told that I look like the R&B singer Ne-Yo today (which I get fairly often, but I don't take as a compliment either).

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
