"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Putting some more touches on my game before I bring it to the next level.

I was talking with this natural Chad friend about a plate of mine. I was having a text conversation with the plate. We were talking about shoes and she wanted to know where I got my new loafers. I had already established that she was very good at making Indian Curry. So I was thinking about using some ****y & Funny and saying something like "I'll tell you if the Indian Curry you make impresses me lol." But my Chad friend told me to not send it, because it's kind of corny as hell.

What do you all think about the exchange? How can I improve my game so that there are less "corny" interactions like this? Or is that exchange fine in the first place for my own unique personality?

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Corny - lacking in subtlety.
Letting her know that her food menu needs to meet you approval is not a good position to put her in and for dam sure is not C&F…
Being labeled as corny interacting with a woman is not being a smooth lady’s man.…

Easy way to stop sounding corny over text.

Cut out the "lol" and emoticons.

Nothing wrong with lol's an some emoticons like the smiles and the sexual face ones. After all, if you do not use them, a text can come through badly interpreted. The lol's, hehehe's, hahaha's and emoticons make it more light hearted so the other person sees you're not a stick in the mud. I use them from time to time. The women in their 20's and early 30's seems to identify with them a lot and like them.

Don't be a dancing clown. You are not there to amuse your date. Talk like an adult. Ask questions and unbox, expand and extrapolate on them. Try to get in touch with her emotions and experiences so you can spark a connection. Don't tell jokes or try to be funny. If something comes off funny to her, you can smirk or smile lightly, but don't be a buffoon. Basically, do everything OPPOSITE what you see on TV and in the movies. You are not there to entertain your date. You are there to find a connection and dig deeper, touch, kino, kiss, touch more, drive her wild and eventually fvck.

Do you think a date wants to get busy with Krusty the clown (The Simpsons)? No. So don't act like one. Act within the three C's. Be COOL. Be CALM. Be Collected within yourself. Smile occasionally, look interested; even if you aren't, and be engaged. Stop over thinking things and just act naturally. No dog and pony show required (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_and_pony_show).

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

For me, when a woman communicates with me over text, it's basically her just wanting to be heard. She might be having work issues, friend issues, boyfriend issues, lonely issues, family issues and a whole other mess of issues.

And I'll listen, when applicable entertain her with follow up questions pertaining to her "problems", then basically ask her what she thinks is the root cause of the problem, what type of resources does she think she needs to solve it and if she had the resources how long would she likely settle it.

By then she's happy and in a better mood, trying to seduce me with thoughts of food, great movies on show and whatnot. I'll bite if she manages to pique my interest otherwise I'll feign busy work schedule.

This is how I normally communicate with women in general over text. I listen more then I talk and I never offer advice.

Works for me, might work for you.

To each his own, but I found my text game dramatically improved when I stopped doing that.

Gave women a chance to ask themselves, was he joking?, what did he mean by that? etc etc

Can't always be a hard azz. Need to sometimes show a joyous side. Women like to be around happy and positive people, not computers. Many threads here where texts are misconstrued and the plate is burnt. Add some smiles here and there with a few lols eases the tension. My Aussie women are different from NY women.

Interesting read

A few lols and emoticons aren't going to show her your a joyous person. Boring people are boring people and no amount of lols and eggplant emojis are gonna change that.

What I'm saying is that corniness comes more from overdoing that sorta thing, then doing none of that.

Agreed. Hence, I said a little.

One thing I figured out is women like exclamation points in text.
