"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

you have to be RIGHTEOUS about your answer when they test you.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

being righteous IS avoiding their **** test and facing it at the same time. Because its real. And you won't look like some pu55y coward.

Your reply to this thread was very childlike.. the way it sounds, you need some growing up to do. no offense. Probably reflects your inner/outter game

You can't avoid all of their tests.

If you spin a plate long enough you'll have to pass the ultimate test and there is no way you can prepare for it. You went out, you got the plate, and you did well enough to keep it in rotation.

Now wtf are you going to do with her?

You will be situationally tested in 2 ways:

First, does your behavior change now that you have the girl? You went from having nothing to having something. Has everything been an act, because you can't act forever. If you have been acting, you will get comfortable and you will reveal who you really are.

Second, sh*t happens in life that you can't prepare for. A problem will come up with one of the two of you. These things happen all the time in life and they seem to happen more frequently when you try doing life with someone else. How do you react to these situations, because surprise and bad situations tend to draw out the most authentic parts of who we are.

The question always comes back to, what are you going to do with her now that you have her. And you can't fake that test.

If you're not actually righteous, it won't matter how righteously you've acted. Veneer is cheap and common. Nobody wants a righteously veneered AFC.

9/10 times, you know the answer they wanna hear.
i always have the best answer and worst possible answer pop into my head, and can either
1) deliver the best one with complete seriousness,
or *my favorite*
2) deliver the worst possible answer with a cheeky grin and watch her face change as she tries to figure out if im taking the p!ss :D

Note: option 2 will NOT go down well by text!!!
Be prepared to deliver option 1 moments afterwith an 'i'm kidding!!', just in case she kicks off royally!

Starting? Get with the program, buddy. It's been established that most of us are crazy. Otherwise, we probably wouldn't be on here, and *****ing like women all the time. :cheer:

yup true for me, but im quite happy with who i am

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

An ex recently admitted that she lied to me about the reason she couldn't see me at her work (4 months ago tonight).

At the time I said "Ok, and it's just a coincidence that you lost your phone this week also? And you cancelled a date for the first time in 6 months? Things happen for a reason. Not for two reasons. If you want to get rid of me just say so, I'll walk away. Did you think I would cry? I was looking for a reason to get rid of you. Do you know how much money I'll save? I've been waiting for you to mess up, but you hadn't messed up yet. Any time a woman ever crossed me, a much better girl came along. So I'm hoping you cross me."
