"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Yes, I'm making another thread about prom again. This have to kill some respect or at least some of my pride...

Ok, it is now May 6th and Prom is June 1st. Now if anyone read my earlier prom thread (and another related to a ballroom dancing incident), I once had a date and she left me. Since then... I have not had much luck getting a new date. All the seniors to my knowledge in my school have a date even by the time she left me. Whoever thought they should put prom night the night before the SATs should be punched for that made my ability to get a Junior infinately harder (I know, some juniors would still go to prom anyways, the girls I know are the type that prioritize school very highly and so far have not been able to overcome that). I know a few girls outside of school, I have already asked all of them and said know for various reasons.

I was able to get one yes from all the girls I asked, a girl who I hold no attraction for, barely any rapport, seems to be very low on funds, and show no enthusiam to prom. When I asked her if she able to pay for her part for the limo... she told me she have no ability at all (when I asked her how would be pay for her dress, she told me she is going to go through a program that gives out old dresses). Following standard courtesy, I would pay for her ticket anyway, but now I have to pay for her part of her limo? Sounds pretty crappy deal to especially to this girl.

I guess I better get to the point, wtf should I do. I only have a few weeks left, I pretty much asked every girl I know decently, should I just go in a group/stag, not go at all, go with the girl that will cost me far much then I think she is worth, or some other option?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Like I said, I already asked all the girls I know outside the school. I guess I'm going stag/group. Though it is a bit depressing, while I know everyone already had dates by the time I started looking again and the SATs thing is making all the juniors I know (most I know really takes school seriously) unable to go with me, I thought I would be able to find someone else who wants (and could, though theoretically a girl could go despite of SATs, it takes alot for a girl to take prom with me over resting for a test that play a large factor to her college future, hmm... putting it in that light, it would too selfish too...) to go with me.

Your taking a girl whose not going to your prom...it's pretty much standard courtesy to pay for her limo too...after all it's not her prom.

Sounds pretty crappy deal to especially to this girl.
That changes things, if she's not worth it don't take her

Go stag if you want, but definitely go. A couple of my friends are going stag, it's actually not a bad deal, you have freedom people who go with dates don't.

No, that's not at all enough time, however if she is going anyway you can ask her. Or, if your too afraid to do that just tell her you'll talk to her at prom, then you can make your move from there.
