"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Ok sit back for another b1tch session where someone can give me an obvious answer for an irritating question.

Ok so this girl...bladdy bladdy blah...bottom line is we hooked up at a party (neither of us drunk or altered in anyway). It wasn't anything spectacular it was a minute or so at most before her friend c0ckblocked the hell out of me. The entire time after (I saw her maybe six times in like two weeks) she is flirting with me shamelessly. Rubbing her hands through my hair, constantly calling me, begging me to go places with her, calling me all these sexual names, she even kissed me on the top of the head...which I am still not sure I get. I just played it cool. I made myself unavailable hit on some other girls a lot of other bulls*it.

I get her alone tonight in my car, no friend, which is amazing since they are joined at the hip. Already had two altoids in my mouth, I swallowed them as we pulled up. She got out of the car, I called her back.

"Hey, XXX come back here."
(She leans in the car)
"No, come closer."
(She comes closer and I put my hand on the back of her head. I leaned in and she turned her cheek to me.)
I just took a backdoor out of it and said "You know you got a little stache there right?"

I can think of two things that could have possibly been wrong.
1) I was bringing her home early because she didn't feel well.
2) I was talking to a bunch of guys the last time I saw her about how I had gotten with this other girl almost a year earlier, she got really weird following that, though she never said that was why.

I mean I guess I'll just move on, but this seems to happen a lot. Girls will give me obvious signals, so blatant that even I can recognize them. Then all of a sudden its not there.

But hey if any of you are ever down south I have some of the hottest lady-friends ever.... F*CK

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I also agree with benassi, whenever you bring up old gfs or hookups or whatever, women seem to think that you would rather be with your ex than them (I know bcuz my "friend" has told me a million times)

So the bottom line is NEVER EVER EVER EVER bring up girls from your past

Why didn't you just go for her any of the other times she was all over you?
