ankle weights?

are their any advantages to them and would it harm your ankles if you just walked around with them in school? and would you benefit from walking around in them?

i dont se how they could do you any harm but really do you think they are going to get you fitter and stronger?
if you wore them while doing standing jumps for basketball or kicks in Martial arts they may help but for general fitness i would say the benifits would be minimal.
just my opinion, not based on facts.

Whatever you do, don't try to skip rope with them on. A guy that I know (who has a degree in kinesiology) told me that it can do major damage to your knees.

As with all weights, you'll soon reach a plaetau when your body becomes used to it.

Gotta keep increasing... which can only be done with exercises in the gym..

ankle weights can be harmful to your joints due to torque. i dont recommend using them.

i do them whenever i do leg raises, otherwise i dont bother with them.

if you want leg strength, be a man and do squats.
