An old plate has just texted me....

An old plate I was seeing a few months back has just texted me saying

'Hey how r u ?'

So I texted back saying

'Who is it?'

She replied her name and I havnt messaged back yet not sure if I should or not... What do you make of this ?

Is this an ego boost thing or something ?

Could be any number of reasons why she's reaching out. Could be ego, attention, she's lonely, etc. Does it really matter? Are you interested in seeing her?

usually means she's in a depressed state could be any given reason most likely after having a heavy weekend partying and is looking for some stable attention from you

its up to you if you want to give it to her but bear in mind she has reached out to you so you currently hold all the cards

in my book its a no lose situation

carry on as you see fit but keep hold of the cards

Well that's what I thought can't really lose so I carried the conversation on for a short while and said that we should have a catchup soon and she replied

'Yes that would be nice x'

I left that message then and I've just replied the day after saying

'Ok sounds good ... I should be free this Saturday? We could do something then! X'

If things progress this is just purely sex no feelings will be involved at all!
