Am I the only one who thinks lots of women look better with minimal to no makeup?

I prefer the no makeup look for all these ladies by far

honestly our culture of telling women to constantly wear makeup is the equivalent of putting so much ketchup on your steak that you don't even taste the meat anymore. We have desensitized ourselves to finding a natural beautiful female with years and years and years of telling the female gender to cover their faces with the f***king warpaint

You get a woman who is naturally pretty, have her eat healthy and workout and stay in shape and she will almost always look fantastic with little or no makeup. I would also say this is another reason I want a mediterranean or Spanish GF - do they not only age much better, but their skin naturally looks better with no makeup IMO.

A lot of makeup is a huge turn-off for me. It screams 'I'm a hottie'...

A modest amount of make-up can be nice though.... The more they put on, the more they seem to be compensating for their insecurities.

Some girls do look better (meant as more genuine) without make ups, the others surely dont.

Definitely prefer the natural look.

Always find it funny how some girls will only date guys of certain height, physique etc considering they look completely different without the layers and layers of make up they wear.

If you wanna meet chicks by the dozens that NEVER wear makeup, then you should start attending church regularly.

And I say this as an atheist because I completely avoid women that don't wear makeup. They are not my type.
The ones I come across with zero makeup on always happen to be 200% religious.
I've seen this pattern for many years both on and offline.

I like the natural look, with just some light makeup. The girls who have to layer it on with a trowel are usually the ugly ones anyway (they need it the most).
But a little can be sexy, I think a little smoky eye can be hot.

Usually if I don't like the looks of a girl without makeup, I don't like the looks of her with it either. Because if it's so much that it changes her appearance, it's too heavy. Makeup is effective to enhance a woman's beauty, not bury it.

That's my philosophy on make up (Paraphrased from @zekko above.) I've dated men who insisted I didn't wear any at all (not even clear lip gloss and a bit of mascara in NYC going out to high end places in Manhattan), and I don't typically wear it on a day to day basis.

Women who have good skin and natural beauty don't need much anyway. I like to wear a little at times to enhance natural features. I'm blonde and fair so a little mascara and eyeliner/shadow adds some contrast to the blonde hair, blue eyes, peachy skin, light brows and the contrast is nice. For photos, necessary.

Younger women usually wear more makeup in trying to look sexier, hotter & older. Older women (if they can pull it off) will wear less makeup as it helps them look younger, fresher, sweeter.

I once overheard a conversation an ex model was having with her dinner companion at Le Cirque in NYC probably 20 years ago. I was dining alone and eavesdropping covertly but shamelessly and found the content of the conversation fascinating. The model was older (probably in her 40s) and had a Christy Brinkley/Kim Basinger type look (it wasn't either of those people, but she was a very pretty, tall slender blonde with cover girl features) and they were talking about this. She was wearing lip gloss, mascara and loose powder. That's it. And they were talking about how a beautiful woman shouldn't need any more than that - and that men who appreciate real beauty don't like more than that really...

I was in my late 20s back then and I really found that conversation eye-opening. Funnily enough, guess what my go to make up items are and have been for years (added bonus can be ready to go anywhere in 5 minutes...) Lip gloss, mascara & loose powder. Simple, easy & breezy.
