sorry for posting this here and not the hs forum, but it's a girl's birthday tomorrow and i asked her what she wanted and she was like "i want a boyfriend" and smiled at me. does this mean what i think it means?

... If you're posting this now, I believe you lost your window. If you didn't make the move after she said that, then you lost your chance.

Who knows if she truly meant it, but she could of easily meant "take me now." If you still like her, then the only thing I could think of would be wrapping up a present then placing a note card that is redeemable for a date or kiss for her birthday.

Yes, that was a big-time IOI. If it was me, I would have been a playful jerk with it, saying something like "Hmm, well I think I know some guys that might work for you. You don't mind snaggle-teeth, right? *wink*" ...right before escalating kino. Pull her in for a hug or tickle her or even kiss her if you felt the vibe was right.

Since the window's passed, just treat her like you would any other woman you're interested in. Be playful, have a good time with her, and DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ESCALATE. Remember, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Well you did miss one chance, but given that her birthday is tomorrow, you do have another to escalate/ask her out/etc. if you want to.

Though technically you didn't clarify if you're interested in her or not

Dont worry you didnt miss the chance yet . Whether or not is IoI , it depends on your report with girl . If she looks you as her friend (girlfriend) it wasnt IoI. Otherwise is an IOI.

If it was for me, would go to her birthday and tell her that i was there to make her birthday wish come true and go for the kiss. Immediately .

What do you do now? Attend the party, give her a good time & make her feel like a special birthday girl. Don't cling on to her the whole night, tend to your friends. She wants a boyfriend? well ask her out on a date later, perhaps on his bday.
