Am I in the wrong??

Long story short- I have been seeing a girl for about a year on and off. We recently had a talk and she said she liked me so I said did she want to be my girlfriend. She said she wanted to get to know me better. Last night we went to a party at my friends house. My friend is always a drunken mess. He asked her for her number about four times in somewhat of a joking manner. She declined the first three attempts but on the third said well you can text me if you cant reach my man and she put her number in his phone. At this point I got mad. She asked why and I told her because she gave her number out. This morning I sent her a text message apologizing. She didn't reply. I invited her to lunch. No reply. She later replied and said "sorry im out and about, bye."

My plan at this point is to wait until she tries to contact me. Is that the way to go??

If it were me I would have pulled him to one side - but to be honest, none of my m8's would dare pull a trick like that - and you've been seeing this woman a year!!!!!!
