Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

These are the emails i exchanged with a hot 35 year old from the internet through a dating/intimate encounters website. The last time i emailed her was this past Wed., but haven't heard anything back since, and i'm left wondering. Here are the exact emails exchanged, except i'm gonna use different names for us. Here goes....

My 1st email initiating contact:

"What's up, i'm Rob, pg. 3- AZ, i'd like to talk...if you prefer IM, my yahoo screen name is X...talk to you later."

Her response:

"HEY HEY!

Thanks for the email! My yahoo name is X.

Lookin good!

Lata
Julie"

My response:

"What's up- Thanks for the comp. I just added you to my list, what's a good time for you to chat?"

What could've went wrong??

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

There is one facet of online dating sites that I haven't seen discussed here before that is likely to be the cause of her lack of response...

She lost interest in you because she started to talk to someone else and connected with them on some level and that's where her focus is now. Don't feel bad, though...it happens all the time. Unless you are able to get an instant "connection" on some level with someone on a dating site you should expect this to happen...it's inevitable.

Nope...if she wanted to keep talking she would have answered the last e-mail you sent. If you don't answer her and she had any interest at all she'll eventually write back. Just talk to others and if you connect with anyone try to set up a face to face meeting as soon as possible.
