"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

OK, first post, sorry if you don't think I should be making a thread but its a bad situation, I think.

There is this girl who I really like, from what I know of her, but she says very little, she is even more socially anxious than I am. Not many people know her either, she doesn't talk enough. I want to get to know her, but I'm only in one class with her and I know it would freak her out if I came on too strong, as with most girls. It's not just a case of wanting to get laid, I really want to be with her. I am more popular than she is, and we all know how clique-ish highschool can be, but I would take a step down to get with her.

What can I do?

Thanks in advance for the help, guys.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

My bed, your girl.
You should start by talking to her, like saying hey and stuff alot.
It'll make her feel more comfortable if you show her that you're a friendly person, and you'll develop your relationship from there.
Just small talk increasing in size, and when both of you are comfortable together try out some of your DJing masterwork.

That seems like a good thing to do. I don't want to do any of this '****y and funny' or 'play it mean keep her keen' stuff, in my experience it works on only a few girls and she definitely is not one of them. Besides, I like her too much for it.

Yeah it really does work on a limited amount of girls, but you gotta be friendly with the more AFC ones. It's like showing them attention, if they don't really respond to it after awhile, cut that attention and they'll probably miss it alot and the person who was giving it to them.

Just a theory.

****y funny works on more than a limited amount of girls. The only women I've found it not to work on is extremely shy ones, which to me are a waste of time. If she can't take a laugh, she can't be all too much fun.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

If you are a lot more popular than her, you do not have very many things to do! Right now, you have already set yourself in a pedestal a lot higher than hers, so YOU are the leader. Treat her as one of your "best friends", start saying hi her more often and start having mild conversations with her, and build up from there. Now, ****y humour can still work with shy girls as long as you use slightly more humour than ****iness in your jokes, and as long as you only use this type of humour once every blue moon.

You can't wear out the word hi, it's just a friendly greeting.
If someone's like "why the hell do you always say hi to me??" well their reaction makes no sense at all.

Use the hello to your advantage. Try makign up some kind of funny greeting to make them laugh even.

C+F and the other such techniques will work on every girl. It's how you apply them that changes depending on the girl. As said above, shyer girls need more funny than ****y. And more outgoing and vain girls will need more ****y. Basic rules still apply. Treat her like she's a friend you've known for years. Get in as much kino as possible without seeming creepy. Try and flick her 'boyfriend switches' through things like holding her hand. Stay at a higher status than her etc.
