"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I don't listen to this type of music all the time, I love all kinds of music. This though, is what I listen to when I want to get in a really aggressive, confident, testosterone-fueled state of mind, like when I'm working out, for example.

P.S. Led Zeppelin is the greatest band the world has ever seen or will see, and they have their fair share of songs that could be taken as 'alpha.'

I assume by "alpha song" you mean inspiring songs that make you feel more of a "man", or induce a that chemical rush.

If that is the case, I don't think there's a better song than "I'm a Man" by Black Strobe

(alternatively, watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIZxMjWf1sQ for a shorter version with a nice voice-over)

If you're into rock, I suggest Foo Fighters - "Best of you", or any song from their latest album - say "Walk"

I loved "99 Problems" when I saw the Battlefield 3 trailer:

"Civilization" by Justice, if you're into electronic music:

Imagine Dragons - "Radioactive" If you're into dubstep(ish)-indie rock kind of music.

Damn it feels good to be a gangsta

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
