"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Last night I went to an all county dance that is put on by an entertainment company and not through the school district. So obviously the rules are way less strict.

The only rule basically is no drugs or alcohol in the building.

So anyway, I have not been to one of these dances in a long time with my new self. I decided that I would attempt to dance with whoever the hell I wanted.

Dont get me wrong, some times I hesitated, but I approached quite of few chicks that I have never met. Others that I have seen around school.

I was shut down a majority of the time, but suceeded a few times as well.

And let me tell you, it's true what Pook (I think) says. That rejections is soooooo much better than regret.

I would of felt terrible if I left the dance without trying last night. But I approached chicks, attempted and now I laugh with my buddies about getting shut down. Its al fun.

However, I'm curious some experience you guys have with this type of thing. I have never been in a club, but this is very loud and very dark. You have to yell in order for someone to hear you right next to their head.

So how are you supposed to approach chicks this way? Its tough.. you cant gain any type of rapport because you can barley hear.

What I was doing is smiling at girls, askign there name and either asking them why we aren't dancing or saying lets dance.

Now being that I got shut down a lot I would like to hearsome stuff that people have had success with when getting HB strangers to dance with you.

Input. Go!

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Never had a problem. Join a dance lesson or two for swing and you will have to approach. It's a lot of fun.

I did and made out with the girl and almost had sex with the girl, but she realized that she had a boyfriend already.

oh well, it is not too hard especially since women are easy to get, but hard to keep.

btw good to know that you are getting out there.

Hey dude,

I totally understand where you're coming from. What I've done in the past is to bring girls that I know along with me. We'll dance and I'll bring 2-3 girls next to me and dance with all of them at the same time. I'll be sandwiched between them. This gains social proof and it'll give you the confidence to just go up and approach. With your new social proof rejection should reduce.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
