Interesting procedure...some cancers apparently are due to cells that never finish properly developing and instead somehow start multiplying out of control. Through a technique called Differentiation Therapy, scientists were able to locate the gene responsible for the continuing development of these cells and by turning it on, forces the cells to develop into normal muscle cells, losing all their cancerous components and preventing them from turning back into cancer since they passed the stage that it occured at.

Impressive and so many potential use if they manage to control this technology.

They could fix serious diseases, permanent damages after accidents like burned skin and even regrow hair for bald men.

Modification of genes aka gene therapy and stem cell stuff is off the hook.

I just read about human trials beginning on a patch that will regrow nerves in the eye that are affected with macular degeneration - this is like HUGE.

If you’re interested in medical news Medscape is a great daily resource.

Uh, that's always been the definition of cancer.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
