Wow. I guess this is the male equivalent of the dumb blonde. It's a long standing female tactic to play dumb - I guess the idea was they wanted to make the guy feel smart around them, and they would like that feeling. You don't hear about this tactic that much anymore, because girls want to look smarter than guys now. Not sure why being stupid is attractive - from an evolutionary standpoint you'd think it would be a negative.
