"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hi guys

Just a quick one, I was in my local emergency doctors yesterday and the receptionist asked me for my number.

I've since tested briefly and arranged drinks for this Thursday night. Trouble is, she is 21 and I'm 31 and am not used to dealing with such an age gap.

She's said it isn't a problem for her as she likes an older, more mature type of Man. Yet I'm wondering what is the best way to play this?
And is an age difference like this actually a turn on for a 21 year old?

Greatful for all advice in advance,

Regards

P

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

It's not a problem at all.

How to play it? Confident and competent.

Yes, she is likely expecting you to be able to teach her things sexually. Hopefully you are up to the challenge. Escalate hard, do not play around, be timid, etc.

She wants to fvck.

She probably fantasizes about an older more experienced man seducing her. Help her to live out her fantasy.

Ask her out reasonably soon she is obviously interested. Just do not put your heart in it and expect anything long term. Consider her a pack of beer you are drinking for one night at at time. Just enjoy it at the time and have fun.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

10 years is nothing I've had multiple live in LTRs with woman who are 15 years younger. Just don't expect anything permanent with a girl who is 21 she's going to change too much as a person over the next few years. And don't make the mistake of trying to hang out with her young friends. Date her on your terms.

Take heed and do not forget this: age is meaningless to women. Whereas men are attracted to youth and beauty, women are not. Looks are merely one facet of attraction for women; a man's strength, ability to provide & protect, and confidence weigh just the same if not more. With this in mind, there is a direct correlation that a man's value increases as he ages; older men are viewed as having their lives together; able to better provide and protect; well traveled; confident, etc. Therefore, the right play in your case is to be that older man she is seeking. One who is sure of himself, confident, experienced. Do not pedestalize her youth or her beauty. As others have stated, treat this as it is, something quick and fun. Nothing more.

10 years, ha. I don't remember dating a girl in a while with less than a 10-year age gap.

How old are you, and do you have a ruleset that keeps dating at this age gap out of trouble for the most part? I agree don't try to hang with her friends.

I'm a 44-45 years old man, who would go down to 30-35. I could do 25-29 but it would be non committed bangs only.

I'm not sure why people waste time discussing age. As long as she's over 18, you're good.

Bro she asks you for your number, you give it without any hesitation. She specifically tells you she likes older mature men. You went out of your way to talk to her, set up a date and time to meet her and have a drink with her. And THEN you come ask us what is the best way to play it and if the age difference is a turn on?

If you were wondering if the age difference is a turn on, why did you her your number when she asked? Why didn't you wait, ask us, and then go back and give her your number depending on the advice given?

I get the feeling you know exactly what to do and it's a show off thread. Brutal.

So SHE asked YOU for your number and then told you she wants an older, more mature type of man? And instantly set up a date for this week?

Please update this thread Friday morning after you've stayed up all night banging the hell out of her. No doubt she's telling her friends right now that she has a date with "this really mature, older guy" lined up this week.

I live by the rule never commit to a girl under the age of 25. They will change their mind like the wind. They will love you one day hate you the next. Demand a ring on monday want too be the party girl who isn't tied down Wednesday. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Treat this one as a plate until she proves she is different.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

When you're 31 and she's 21, that's one of the best combinations possible. Remember though, any girls 27 or older will say you are a shameless, evil pervert, because that's when they decide that they like guys their age.

When I was 32 years old I dated a young chick that was 23. Its natural that women in that age prefer older men.
The men around their age are still boys!

Go for it! Don't forget to have fun and dont overthink this age thing.
