Does aftershave lotion work at all? or is it just a gimmick to attract buyers?

Effective at what? Isn't it just another form of cologne? If you mean disinfecting cuts, it's effectively expensive rubbing alcohol. Me personally, I don't use it.

if after shave isn't worth the money, then would it be appropriate to splash on a little colonge on your face before I go to work.

I thought the point was a nice smelling moisturizer for after you're done tearing up your face.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I like it. If you get a good product, it really moisturises your skin and leaves it feeling very good for the day.

They don't really have such a strong smell, so you can even put on cologne a few minutes later once it sinks into your skin. :p

i use aftershave balm.
i also pull a bottle of water from the fridge and hold it to my face to limit blood flow to the skin on my face, it seems to minimize the visual symptoms of skin irritation.

Having a good aftershave makes all the differance. A good one will help the skin stay normal and it lasts for the whole day. The smell of aftershave is also subtle so it won't mix with colonge. BTW putting colonge on ur face is stupid... the only place your suppose to put on colonge are wrist, behind ears / neck and maybe armpits.
