Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

ok. i'm a wanna be player, ****ed around alot, not usually into the lovey dovey stuff.

latest girl and I just had a huge fight, broke up.. and i couldn't repair things

a little info: we were together about 5 months. she wasn't secure finally , it comes to a head, we break up [but depart on good terms]. when i try to meet her again, find out the break up was final, can't fix it.

last night she called me and set up a meeting.. but i was in a business dinner and couldn't leave it early, so i was late, and she left. i took it as a good sign that she misses me.

the next day, i talk to her a few minutes[ wait for her to engage me ] and she says , it's a bad idea to meet.. she lost feeling. i tell her .. yea.. she is right.. [nobody wins an argument] and persuade her to meet me one more time *to say goodbye* (even if I don't convince her back, I do want closure). i'm not sure if she will go through with that meeting or not.. it is on Wed.

my heart tells me to chase after her with don juan style romantic stuff.. remind her of our happy times together... she seemed interested when I said 'real relationship' before.. get her laughing.. happy.. convince her I can give 100%

my mind tells me to play it cold. wait for her to engage me.. don't do any don juan stuff.. just .. go earring shopping [for me] or something together and try to get the old happy feeling back [which is probably pretty difficult at this point].

how do I play this? before the meeting.. setting up the meeting.. and at the meeting.

advice!!! thanks!!!

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

A meeting to say goodbye?

I'm pretty sure your girl has already interpreted this as a "one more chance for him to try and get my back" kind of thing.

You can't talk a girl into feeling for you. You can't reason with her. The more you try, the more you'll cry. Women like men for who they are, not who they are trying to be.

So I think you already made the mistake of arranging this meeting, but not so fast.. you're not going to back out. That's just cowardly and typical of a man who can't execute.

You're going to meet up with her and keep it on a 100% friend level. You're going to be very positive, never bringing up the past, and you're going to keep the conversation upbeat and funny. There shouldn't even be mention of the reason you two are actually meeting up at least till half way the conversation. And you are not bringing it up. Make HER bring it up.

I'm the last guy who will tell you how to "get a girl back," because I firmly believe that any girl in their right mind who leaves me, doesn't deserve me. But if you insist on loving this girl, then you need to hold back. You can't make her like you again with words. You need to step back and show her that you're perfectly fine with being friends for now. This will refresh your image in her mind for now, and most likely she'll have second thoughts later on.

Don't rely on this girl too much though.. go talk to some other women also!

chump!!!

Half the world population is female, and your wasting your time with this chick???

1) Men have options, chumps hold on to what ever they can get.
2) There will always be a better one....somewhere
3) She has the power,

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
