Afraid of going to jail

Im 17 and i usually talk to girls 15-16 years old. Lately ive been paranoid ever since i read this article online about this teenager getting sent to prison because he was 17 and he had sex with a 15 year old. Im afraid that if i did have sex with someone under age that i'd get caught somehow. If i was to get caught what would happen, i mean to press charges do they have to catch you in the act, could it be as simple as someone reporting it. If anyone knows about the justice system or whatever could you fill me in. Maybe it's not as bad as i think but i just want to be informed. Besides any tips on how to handle this situation.

where are you geograpically? different places have differnt laws regarding this.

i'd say a very low percentage of kids actually get caught.

I do think that those that are caught are either very indiscreet, or piss off the chick or her family.

I heard of a case like it in Georgia where the guy was 17 and the girl was 15. I think he ended up losing a football scholarship while being put in prison. It happened in a small town and the two were different races, so I think that had more to do with it than anything. My advice is just wait till after high school and even then be careful who you lay with. Some women of any age will lie just to get back at you and send you through hell just to get your name cleared. So either wait, or get an older woman.

They aren't a real danger to society but they are now alongside sex predators insofar as law is concerned. Their names, faces, residential addresses are published and forever are stripped of privacy; there are restrictions to where they can live and with a felony conviction they are hard pressed to ever get a real job.

That may be what they teach in school and what they want the majority of law-abiding citizens to believe ------> But that certaintly isn't the case in actuality!

dude well if u say that a 17 year old banging his 16.5 year old gf shudnt be illegal then people will stretch it further and further.. then someone says hey well i should be able to be 18 and bang a 16.5 yr old.. then it keeps going - eventually someone will put in a cutoff and then once again people will say HEY WHATS WRONG WITH A "x" YEAR OLD BANGING HIS "x-1" YEAR OLD GF... repeat..

Why would you want to make it so highly restrictive? The legal age in AR is 16. You'd have that raised to 26 for me.

AFAIK, i'm not "too old" for any woman. Some girls are too young for me though. I can run circles around most 22 year old men.

Heya. I like to smoke weed. Love it, my thing! Law is such that if I get caught even with a tiny spec of weed, I can be arrested, tortured, and sent to Guantanamo prison death camp.

Things are even more against me since I'm an undercover truth activist ("American insurgence"), with videos and blogs going to scope of William Cooper's 9/11 false flag prediction of June 28 2001. In other words, if FBI ever gets hold on me with some weed, I better learn to enjoy taking it in the ass.

Thus my point, just because its illegal, does not mean it's bad, or you shouldn't do it. True, if you don't do it, good for you. But face it, you'll be banging those chicks, and it's even fun.


Now fear is not productive. Instead of fear, use judgment and strategy to avoid being caught. In other words, don't be reckless. Also, there is life after being on sex offender database, move to Brazil or something.

It sounds strange to me you can get arrested for sleeping with a girl who is 2 years younger than you. I don't think you should be worried. Whenever you get caught or something or someone makes a big deal out of it, say you love her. What's so wrong with that? As long as she doesn't press charges on you, you shouldn't worry. So try to sleep with girls that don't seem insane.

Keep in mind that every day there are millions of people doing things illigal: Smoke weed, underage drinking, download movies/mp3's etc. They don't have the time to prosecute every single person. And every country is different. The country I come from you can buy a few grams of hash or weed per person per day, you can drink beer/wine etc. when you are 16 and you can drink strong liquor when you're 18. However, you cannot start getting or drivers licence untill we're 18. I don't agree with it but okay.

Keep in mind that some laws don't make any sense. It's illigal for a 17 year old to sleep with a 15 year old, even though they're in love, but it's legal to start a war for no good reason? cheers to that.

I'm not talking about people who are in their 20's, but kids in high school that want to have sex but are too afraid of being accused of rape. 18 and 16 not a bid deal, but 18 and 13 is pushing it. Once half your age plus 7 starts churning out numbers 18 or greater, fvck anyone you want. It is BS when a kid of 17 gets accused of rape screwing his 15 year old GF.

Statutory rape is sex with minor, if you're of legal age and she's under age, that's statutory rape. Clearly, original poster is not of legal age, thus for him sex with a minor is not statutory rape. Rather, for underage minors sex is illegal. That is, if he is 17, and she is 17, his parents could file a complaint with police and get her arrested, and vice versa. Thus, nobody is saying anything about statutory rape, try to get it straight.
