"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Went out with a girl who I had been friends with for 2 years or so, we dated for about 2 months till she "lost the feeling" During the 2 years I was pretty much a DJ in front of her, she came out with me and my friends and all the girls I was hanging with, even any g/f I had at the time. Then something clicked and I made out with her and we started going out. Was awesome, never happer in my life. Then I turned into a AFC x 500. I was a pu$$y whiped moron. Basicly did everything wrong. Then she lost the feeling after about 2 months. So now we are "Just friends" we were friends with benifits for about a month and the sex was like 10x better than when we were going out. But now she said we gotta stop that =/ But anyways. Did I totaly blow it with her forever? Or you think if I go my own way for a bit she might come around? She was everything I wanted in a girl. I still have really strong feelings for her, but been chatting with like 4-5 girls to take my mind off her a bit. Not ready for a LTR, just want a lil play.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

its sounds to me....like you got played.(sorta) i dont think her "feeling" was ever really there.

in a way...no disrespect...but if she shared those feelings you shared...even if you were an AFC....it would of taken more for it to end.

but then again the AFC might of killed it.

but she might of dated you..because she thinks ur attractive.....and it was safe....

that kind of emotion doenst come and go that fast.

give me examples of how u were an AFC?

also did u tell her u loved her?

Ya I did say I loved her and bought her flowers. I pretty much was always there, called here every day. Would go way out of my way for her, was like a lil puppy. Think I smotherd her a bit. She said he had feelings at one point, never got to the point where she loved me. Then she said she wanted to want me in a big chat we had but who knows. She said she never got jelous either, maybe she just had lust.

She was only my 3rd real G/F and she has had way more b/fs than that. So it prolly is easyer for her to not care or get over things than me.

But after we broke up we stoped talking for like a week, and then she came over to drop off my game cube and said she almost cried cause she missed me so much. Then I went back to AFC =(

For about a week or so after that she was the one calling all the time, even when she would get a break in work which she never really did when we were going out. I think it was too clear to her that I was never going anywhere when we were going out. I am one of them " nice guys" In last place again.

never ever buy her flowers unless its valentines day or anniversary

talking to her everyday isnt bad..exp since you were friends...before..but she should be calling u half the time..and she should be excited to talk to you.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
