That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

met and went out with this girl a few times, seemed very interested then quickly almost fell off the face of the earth, flaking twice then just not calling back.


I've read the forums before and no contact seems to be the right answer but thought i'd ask.

oh and last time i contacted her was early new years eve after she had wanted to meet up with me that night but then she never responded and i haven't tried since.

You go NC not because you are hoping she will suddenly become interested again and get back to you, BUT because she is clearly showing you that she has low-no interest in you now.

The dates must have fizzled from her perspective, hence the lowered interest and her not getting back to you.


Figure out what you did wrong on the date and move on to the next.
