"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Dated a girl about 4 months back. She slow faded on me. 3 weeks ago saw her randomly at a traffic light. She calls
Me all excited saying she can't believe she saw me blahblahblah. I turned off to the gym and told her well talk. I ring her 2 weeks later and no answer. So I sent her a text saying we should her coffee and catch up and if she has other things going on in her life then it's completely fine and we can just talk down the road. She calls and talks on phone with me a bit and says she'd like to meet for coffee. Didn't set a day so I texted her if Sunday is good (this was on Thursday). No contact and when Sunday rolled around I shot her a text saying will I see you later ? Then she was like no I'm sorry I have to go out of town for work tomorrow. I said ok sounds good hit me up down the road if you want to hang. I feel like I played it right but I haven't heard from her all week. Why in the world would she accept a coffee date when I left the door open for her to say no and cut things off? Hard to get act or is she psycho lol thoughts ?

Without going into detail she is not interested. She would probably like to have you as an orbiter to entertain her when she is bored or lonely. When a girl is interested in you she will make it easy to schedule a date and won't flake. This girl is making it very difficult for you. Cut your losses and move on. She is not worth the effort.

It's surprising because she was very excited on the phone the past few times. We also had sex several times in the past. Not sure where things went wrong

You just weren't her first choice...she was waiting on whoever she was more interested to come around and then bounced...

Don't take it personal, it's happened to everyone on here more than once.

I have had girls give me the slow fade in the past. They found someone that they thought was better. As @marmel75 said you are not her first choice. But the good news is that women are like a bus. Another comes along in 10 minutes. Don't fixate on her. You can do everything right and still the lose the girl.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Girls say yes a lot of the time even when thry have zero intentions of going out with you.

Sometimes it is because they want to keep you on a string for validation. It's braging rights to their friends. "OH look at all the guys who want to be with me... "

Sometimes they get a better (in their mind) offer and just no show or flake in the 11th hour.

Sounds like this one did waste your time. I would next her. Go date other women. She knew she was going out of town and chose to ignore your first text. Right after she didn't answer about Sunday with a yes or a no she blew her chance with you. You should have nexted her then.

Flakey ho's like this can take a money $hot to the eye. She isn't interested. Just looking to be validated. Don't give her the satisfaction.

Women operate in another world where yes means no sometimes. Always make decisions based on their actions, disregard what she says.

Just ignore.

The only way to increase her interest is to ignore and she may come back around when she realized you're not going to chase.

Odds are low though, as she probably already has someone on a contract to hit it.

The chick I was seeing recently was all over me like a rash, wanting commitment etc, next minute she is back on pof and probably banging some other dude already..

That interest level is fake man, it's just to hook you in. They are only out to get the best for themselves, if that means taking a big chit on your feelings, it's not a problem for them do that.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

She was with Tyrone or Jermaine while you were texting her, sweating for a reply.
