It's coming to 9:00pm and I've just realized I have spent practically all day on my computer... and this isn't an abnormality. I'm 21 and while worried about myself I'm more concerned for even younger kids. I will (and can) endeavor to get out a lot more (my photo album consists of "night time pictures"
) and get some more hobbies, but what about the "myspace generation" or kids even younger who have practically grown up with this all around them? Are they giving up their bicycles for computers, and the internet? What do you guys think about our growing reliance on technology and it's affects on society?
I had many hobbies when I was younger, but sitting here on the computer just seems easy. I can socialize on facebook, research on wikipedia and entertain myself in countless ways... but I realize and over-indulgence in this is very bad. I just want to go back to the old-school you know?
