“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Hey lads,

Just wondering if anyone here is a professional actor, and if so how do you start?? Do you have to move to LA or can it be done in other places around North America, I'm possibly thinking about Toronto. I did 5 years of drama through high school and was excellent at it, right now I'm an Australian living in Canada on a work visa. Is there plenty of work avaliable around the place or not? (I can hide the Aussie accent if neccessary)

Thanks.. any replies appreciated.

I graduated from New York Film Academy in Manhattan 6 years ago. I've worked with Strasberg trained actors from the Actors Studio.

What exactly are you wanting to accomplish in acting?

Yes, I'm a professional actor. I've done a lot of backgound work and I got a small role as "Dante" in "Baby Mama" coming out 2008. Here's some of the stuff i've done work for:

Liberty Kid
My Super Ex-Girlfriend
MTV VMA Commercial
VH1 Celeb Fit Club 4 Promo
etc....

DO NOT MOVE TO LA!!!!!!!!!! LA is for when you have money and you're known already. It will be extremely hard for a new name to make it in LA. I live in NY and I've been acting for 3 years now.

To get started, try to get training from a good acting instructor. I'm working on no training, but things will move along faster if you have it. Get a good headshot and make a resume. Start buying Backstage newspaper, they have casting calls in there. There are also sites where you can get casting calls. If you fit the description for anything, submit yourself. Try to get a manager and/or an agent. They will help you get work and IMPORTANT: THEY DON'T GET PAID UNTIL YOU GET PAID! IF THE CHARGE YOU FOR ANYTHING THEY ARE NOT LEGIT!

If you need any other info let me know.

Right now I'm just see what options are out there, I'd be more interested in tv, commercials etc rather than theatre. I might snoop around a bit more and see what I can find, thanks for the tips. Btw I did do 5 years of high school, years 8 through to 12 that's what we consider high school in Australia.

That is what i'm doing.. I've done background work for commercials and film, and the small role I got is a film being done by Universal Pictures. Whatever training you have, make sure you put it on your resume and put the name of the teacher that taught you.

I have a friend that I just graduated with who traveled to Atlanta a lot to shoot commercials and audition. She landed a n extra role in a movie. I think her head got to big though and she decided she was established enough to go out to LA now.

They do have occasional castng calls in other random areas, it really depends on what the film, commercial, etc... is about and what kind of scenery they want in it. You just gotta check for casting calls in your location. But NY and LA are the 2 main places. I live in NY.

I'm going to be moving to florida, so i'm expecting a big decrease in work down there, if any. But once I get a good job down there, I won't hesitate to fly to NY for an audition on a big film.

Toronto's a pretty good place to get started in the acting world from what I hear. Sort of the L.A. of Canada.
Yea, Ontario, Canada is a good place aswell.
