Acne and The Solution

Hi:

Often, I've run across posts where people say that they have acne, tried everything, etc., or whatever.

In used to have relatively bad acne, but once I changed my diet from crap to only good food(no chocolate, whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, etc.) my face began to improve.

HOWEVER, the NUMBER 1 answer for me was and still is flax seeds.

One can buy them at a supermarket for pocket change, and I bascially take a tablespoon and place them in my mouth. (It takes a while to break them down)

Therefore, EAT FLAX SEEDS, such as when you are idle(on the computer or watching tv, etc.

THEY WORK!

This is my tip of the day, out.

Vitamin E, mainly, plus Omega 3s.

I believe they are the most abundant source of Omega 3 on the planet.

What about my lovely tuna?

Also, I heard the stomach has trouble breaking down the raw seeds and that it's not able to fully absorb the omega 3, so why not the oil?

Tuna has very little fat, equating to very little Omega 3. Make that VERY little. Just make sure to break down the seeds very well, or use a blender.

if you want Omega 3, just buy some capsules and take the stuff directly.

I take 4 omega 3-6-9 capsules per day and they seem to help alot (they also help with confidence by slightly boosting seratonin levels)

But the main thing that helped my acne was going to a tanning salon. I know everyone seems to say that tanning DOESN'T help acne, it just makes your pimples less noticeable because your skin tone is closer, but that's just not the case for me. I just went to a tanning salon yesterday with a few zits on my forehead, and they're all starting to disappear. My skin feels more soft with that natural oily texture, and not dry at all. I don't know why it is that people claim tanning doesn't help... maybe it helps for some people and not for others?

How about not eating fatty foods with grease(pizza, hamburger, french fries, exc)...and other things that cause acne to flair up.....

Everyone wants an easy way or a short way out....

flax seeds and tanning do help to an extent but roaccutane is the big killer. my advice: do it all:D

Insidious: what makes you think greasy foods cause acne?

As for tanning... it causes wrinkles man, it's good in youth, bad for later. I prefer to be as pale as possible... which is tough with my inflamed skin and tendency to walk outside in the sun...
