Alrite, I guess I'm starting up this thread as this event just occurred and somehow managed to fix it back together.
Scenario 1: Condom Breaks
Remain Calm.........thankfully the women I was with had a sense of control. I kinda freaked as this was the first time it had ever broke......which was my bad.
Broken condoms occur all the time and the main reason for breakage is putting the condom on wrong or breakin open the package incorrectly. Although I would like to add that rough and fast sex can break a condom as well due to the friction buildup....so don't pump it too hard with a regular condom. Get a large one. They tend to last longer.
If a condom breaks, take out the condom slowly out of the vagina, or take your penis out. Next apply some spermicide on your index finger and spread it around inside the vagina, preferably near the uterus. Don't go nuts with the bottle but remain cool and calm as everyone experiences this.
Scenario 2: THe STD and HIV Effect
I don't know about some of you people but the first time it broke I went in a 2 day depression about I was going to die from AIDS. After I cleared my head, I realized just how stupid I was.
Condoms brake but it does not mean its the end of the world!
First some statistics for the nerdy type:
5 out of 10000 people will contract AIDS from an HIV Positive Person while having unprotected sex.
I REPEAT THE CHANCES OF EVEN OBTAINING THE VIRUS IS 0.0005% per sex act.
Some statistics:
Regional HIV and AIDS estimates, end 2004 (In North America)
Adult (15-49)
HIV prevalence rate
0.6%
(range: 0.3-1.0%)
Adults and children (0-49)
living with HIV
1 000 000 (In NA)
(range: 540 000-
1 600 000
Women (15-49) living with HIV
260 000
(range: 140 000-
410 000)
Adults and children newly
infected with HIV in 2004

120 000)
Adults and child deaths

Remember there is 295,734,134 people in the US alone, Canada 32,805,041
Therefore:
HIV IN CANADA:
32805041 / (295734134+32805041)
= 0.099851230831148218473489500909595
x 1,000,000
= 99,851 HIV Infected People
HIV IN USA:
295734134 / (295734134+32805041)
=
0.90014876916885178152651049909041
x 1,000,000
= 900,149 HIV Infected People

Contracting HIV is rare, so don't worry bout it!
BTW: SYMPTONS OF HIV DOES NOT EQUAL HIV!
