Okay so I've been off work a week through being ill... Only too come in today too find out there's rumours that I've been doing drugs in front of my ex's kid... Completely untrue of course. My ex works with a girl who's mother works at my works so that's how it's come about... How do I deal with this???? Fuming!!!!

Where are you from? Get a lawyer and sue whomever is saying this for lible and slander. I had one of my exes friends start spreading rumors about me during our break-up. Filed a civil suit, and she was forced to issue a signed written statement that she made it all up as a condidtion of me dropping the suit.

It really all depends what State/Country you live in. In some States slander laws aren't that big a deal...

Confront Her about it.

Ask her to stop spreading this rumour and that it's untrue.

If she doesn't then take her to HR. It's a sackable offense by her.

I've just left it as I think if I confront her then it will spiral out of control .. She's done a complete 180 to when I thought I knew her... She's a proper physcho trying too destroy my life... Thinks it's best too leave well alone. I'm in the process of getting a new job so fingers crossed... This women at work is just vile she thrives of other people's misery ... Aparrantly when I first broke up 3 weeks the day after she was going round too people at work saying that I'm a "dirty ******* filthy etc... In like a vulgar way... But I know I've not done anything of the sort, so I don't know what my ex is saying too her or if she's making it up... If I was that bad the day it ended the finishing text was this -

Hi sorry left my phone at home to think, i dont think i can carry this on i dont want you to think its anything youve done cos it isnt i really need the time to concentrate i tried to convince myself i could do it while i was off work but im not as ready as i thought i would be for a full on relationship x

So that makes me think I can't of done something that bad can it? I think she has some sort of mental disorder! If I never saw her again it'd be too soon!
