Ok i went to a good place that a lot of people recomended me that has had a bit of work done and older. they were very nice and informative... it was expensive compared to everyone elnce though. anyways i have a question... how long did it take peoples toungs to heal first... and second it says "no kissing or sexual stuff" for 4 weeks.... please tell me thats not true. anyways the plus side is i got hit on a bit more at the bar, i meet my mom up there and her friend started flirting with me lol, and so everyone elnce. anyways helpfull advice would be nice, thanks.

I got my tongue pierced on a Tuesday, on Thursday I was making out with this chick...It's all dependent upon the person. I'm guessing the reason they tell you 4 weeks is because it's still healing, and you're at a higher risk to give/get STDs with an open sore in your mouth.

Do. Follow the guidlines they give you
Don't eat spicy food or hot stuff right away.

The first couple days I drank a lot of water, cold as f*ck. Helped the swelling, so did Midol.


Also, my entire set up, the piercing and the barbell cost me like $41.40

Chris Rock made a song back in 1999 I think, and it said, "if a girl has a pierced tongue.......she will probably suck your ****.....if a guy has a pierced tongue....he will probably suck your ****." I'm not saying this guy's gay, but it does seem like a girly thing. I do know a good number of women that says it feels good when a guy is going down on her though, so that's probably why he did it.
