well, gay people certainly would wear Abercrombie, although I agree, they usually go for even more expensive stuff, like from Nieman-Marcus.
One time a gay couple went into Abercrombie and bought some of their stuff, like a pink tight t-shirt and stuff. Not recommended for the straight guy, even if you're secure, because in general it looks stupid to be blunt.
The only way to pull off the pink shirt is to have the outlandish personality to go with it. If you're all serious, and not wacky, then it doesn't work.
