"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Look, the ideas spawned by the many Don Juans here all are sort of maps on what is suggested to be done rather than what will happen..

It goes back to the existential way of viewing life. Its all about responsibilites and choices. It's YOUR responsibility to make the right choices and experiencing the outcome of such choices. Joe writes that to be successful you must be ****y and funny yet James goes out and tries it and doesn't generate success..Well, although James might have tried to implement the idea on a girl, he might have chosen the wrong girl and unfortunately James subconsciously chose to give up on the idea of not being so nice and ego driven and decide that ****y and funny was all a fluke..

Look, if you didn't get what you wanted the first time and you didn't give it another shot and really tried it's was your choice and now your back at home slapping yourself for even trying, it's your responsibility to get laid or simply find the right girl. It's your responsibility to define yourself and you do this through EXPERIENCE..this is why practice makes perfect. You can not solely take some tip off a forum that sounds logical and expect to catch big fish..You've got to milk the idea for what its worth..

Although I'm suggesting for you not to give up, it will be your choice and your responsibility to find success for yourself and not give up....my post my sound a little confusing but think about the choices you make everyday in life and know that by having the freedom of choice you have the burden of being responsible for those choices..

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
