"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

OK, I'm just going to cut straight to the chase: there is this girl at school that I have been flirting around with quite a bit. We aren't going out, but some people thought we were just because we bag on each other so much, and I know she's attracted to me.
The problem is, she recently went to a "purity retreat" (she's the religious type), and one of my friends told me that she said that after going to this retreat, she said that she would "never date anyone" (not in high school anyway), and that she "doens't want a relationship". She has been totally ignoring me (but no other guys) for the past few days.
So, you guys have any suggestions as to what the HELL I need to do?!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

What to do? Move on. Have some self-respect left in the end instead of beating yourself up because you can't bang the bible-thumper.

I at least wanted to try to do something before moving on, you know?

She's not doing anything with you due to religious reasons, and trying to get her to go against those beliefs is a waste of time. A) you should respect her choice, B) religious people are nutters who don't listen to sense. Again, move on.

So many guys sift through half-indicators and possible clues to try to find out if a girl is interested in them. You are being told flat out, she doesn't want to date you, she doesn't want a relationship of any sorts with you, and she's ignoring you exclusive of other guys.

WALK. THE. ****. AWAY.

I have a little story from when i was in highschool that might entice you. I was once on the same page as you, flirting with one of the most beautiful girls at my highschool. After a few days of flirting and hanging out a bit, she immediately turned her head the other direction. I thought this was the end of the world. Then it hit me. She didn't turn away cause she wasn' t interested, she turned away cause she was so dissapointed in how she was letting herself fall for me, that she went into a state of denial.

So what did I do? I decided that I'd give it a break for a week or two and move onto other girls, while still keeping her in the back of my mind.

Result? I ended up falling in love with the girl a few weeks later when she approached me and told me how much she missed talking to me. Bottom line is sometimes girls feel insecure about themselves when they give themselves up too much to guys.

Good news is these girls are the most enjoyable when it comes to relationships, cause you know they have self-confidence to keep your relationship alive.

So step away, and let her know you're willing to live your life without her.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Glad you realized, 90% would have shut off.
