"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

A theory about porn

What do you guys think about this theory?

I have decided that I think porn in moderation is good. To much porn distracts you from real women. I quit porn cold turkey for about 2 months. I believe that no porn at all made my AFC tendencies worse. I didn't have an outlet for my "sexual energy." So, I focused it on girls that I missed chances with or girls that I never could get up the nerve to ask out. I now look up porn a couple of times a week (I consider this "in moderation"). I think its a good balance of getting rid of my sexual energy (so I'm not constantly getting mad at myself for being such an AFC) without being excessive about porn.

any thoughts/comments about my theory?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

If you see girls in porn that look really good then I think you start to get conditioned to being aroused by girls of that quality. Then when you see the real life girls they don't seem as great anymore. Something along those lines.

I "sort myself out" every night and also some mornings.....unless im with lady company. WHat i do is sometimes use porn.....sometimes dont.

This way I can use my own imagination and keep up my own creative vision and thoughts and also apply some mental control. I then also use porn as a visual aspect like any male.

I think its important to vary between the 2.

I love porn but I agree it IS bad for you. For the reasons above but also: It not only realeases you sexual frustration therefore making you less likely to be arsed going after women but it also makes you see them as objects. To get real girls you need to be funny witty (you know) but I think porn conditions us not to think this way, we expect them to bang us there and then pretty much. When they don't, when we realise they aren't objects but people, we get scared and nervous. We become an AFC.

Most of the real players I know DON'T watch porn.

That's because most of them don't need it. Let them go days, weeks, months without sex and I'm sure they'll be singing a different tune. Haha.
