a STARTER girl?

I'd consider myself about an 8 out of 10 in terms of looks, with ever increasing "game" and mastery of attraction. I haven't had a g/f in over 2 years. Met a girl last night at a party while I was just doing some routines...well her friend said she likes me. I"d consider her about a 6, not overweight or ugly, I"m really just not all that attracted to her. I don't want to use her, but I'm wondering if it would help out my "game" to date her. Is it better to have a 6 with you or be alone in terms of social proof for hotter girls? Is it possible to go from a 6....to a 7....to and 8....to a 9...?

I've always made the experience that it's better to hit on the hottest chick in the place... even if she rejects you (well, it's better if that reject is not too obvious - although my experiences included a lot of these rejects ^^), the other girls watching you will think that you have to do with "quality girls" (sry, I don't know how to put that in English). I don't think this strategy works in the opposite direction...

LOL... no, no, no Austrian... the secret is that you talk to everybody in the club... you are seen with everybody... obviously you have your group of friends who you can use as your social proof, but you only talking to hot chicks isn't social proof...

This girl... if you want to fvck her and date her then do that... I dunno, 'date' sounds so formal, you just want a casual relationship with her really... and why would you be using her? So many people have that mentality rather than being smart to the game... Simply put, you hook up with a chick and it's mutually beneficial... chicks want to fvck too, she's gettin somethin out of this deal too

I didn't mean to talk _only_ to hot chicks, I just thought if I try to get known to some people who I don't know at a location, I'd better start with the higher numbers... and still talk to everybody (well, that would be impossible in the club I'm frequently going to... too many people ^^) please correct me on that theory ... guess I've to stop using it

What do you think? Girls typically like guys that have girls or a girl around them....but what if he's an 8 or 9 and she's a 6. Is this rule still in effect?
