It was a Thursday when some of my relatives and I were talking about different things, catching up, and just having a nice family moment. Suddenly, I brought up the fact that my brother had a daughter. He is the first of the three brothers to have a baby, so when my uncle heard the news, he was really happy.
Then he said something that really surprised me, especially now that I’m becoming more and more aware of the red pill perspective. He said: “So she saw that he is a good guy.”
At the time, I didn’t pay much attention to it. But later, I started thinking about what he said and realized how much of a blue pill mentality my uncle has.
I obviously don’t know every aspect of my brothers relationship, so I can’t make a complete judgment. But I do know my brother very well, and I’ve noticed that he has some traits that are often associated with an alpha personality. He likes going to the gym, carries himself with a very strong frame around people, is independent, sets clear boundaries when he doesn’t like something, and usually doesn’t over-explain himself—he just says what needs to be said. Those are some of the traits I’ve personally observed in him. And honestly, I don’t believe his wife fell in love with him simply because he was a “good guy.”
I remember that I used to think the same way: that being a good guy was one of the main reasons a woman would fall in love with a man. It’s a mentality I’m actively working on removing from myself completely.
What makes the situation even more interesting is that, despite all those traits, I also know that my uncle is heavily influenced by his wife. If he wants to do something and she disagrees, he usually just stops. There are several other details like that.
So I’m curious: what do you think about this? Have you noticed this kind of mentality in people in your own family?
