Back to the original post, it's a good idea, although not a new one. If your target is for some reason inaccessible, then you can open one of her friends. But, I would NOT reccomend closing the entire group.
Think about it. The whole point of the contact close is to show that she is interested in you. The number itself is meaningless. After all, you could just look it up in the phone book. It's the fact that she wants you to call which is important.
If you get #s from the entire group, then she won't know what your intentions are, and she'll give you her number even if she doesn't want you to call, leading to an even higher flake rate than normal with numbers. Also, this comes off as underhanded and weak, not the impression you want to convey.
