"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

In my (unfortunate) experience, relationships are a power struggle.

I recently heard a David DeAngelo interviewee sum it up as follows:

" A girl's role in a relationship is to try and take control. A guy's role is to prevent the girl from taking control."

Any thoughts?

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Its true for many relationships, but it doesn't have to be. Personally I can't see the point of a relationship if its just about a power struggle. I get enough of that at work.

But what does control mean to both parties? The way I look at it, both guy and girl get into a serious relationship because they want to be happy. They believe that getting involved with the other person will give them happiness.

The reason why most relationships don't turn out the way the involved parties would like it to is because they choose to ignore the fact that relationships generally involves certain unspoken or spoken rules and customs that essentially takes away certain individual freedoms. The more freedom a particular relationship takes away, less happiness will be experienced.

Think about it. What do people complain about? "My partner is cheating on me", "He's not giving me enough attention", "She throws a tantrum and doesn't want to tell me what's wrong" and any other arguments stems from the fact that one person is unhappy about the other person. They want the other person to 'change'. They want them to behave in a manner which they are happier with. It goes back and forth because neither side wants to give in (or give up their freedom). This reasoning also applies to family relationships.

It's hard enough trying to make and keep one party happy. Try making both sides happy and you have a mountain to climb.

These are my thoughts. And it has made me realize that people are generally not meant to be together for a long period of time.
