I hate to make another MRA thread. But this literally JUST happened in my office today. And remember this is his side of the story. This guy was cheating on his wife he admits, and she was cheating on him (but she thought he didn't know). He said they haven't had sex in years. She found out about his girlfriend and filed divorced. She planted drugs in his car according to him. They both smoke pot. She called the cops. She claimed on camera that she never did it and asked him to stop. She told the cops exactly where to find it and how much was in the car. Said he threatened to kill her. He was arrested for both domestic violence with no marks on her (just lots of tears.. "I'm scared of him") and for drug possession. She took all his money while he was locked up, cleaned out the bank accounts. The cops advised her to file a restraining order while he's locked up so he can't come back. The cops were very sympathetic to her on the tape. She did a great job of seeming like a person in great distress. He moved to his mothers house after he got out of jail.
Then she takes him back for 3 months, with the threat of jail hanging over his head. He lied about leaving his girlfriend and she found out. Now she's going through with the divorce and filed a second restraining order and domestic assault charge.
We are enhancing the video and audio of his arrest for his lawyer. She said in court that she knew nothing about drugs, so he's using the video to refute that. He's on probation for weed possession from years back so I doubt that will help his case at all.
On his way out of the door, I told him to google men's rights.
