You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Makes no sense. America has horrible mothers. That is why many of you get kicked out of the house at 18. That is why you can cook, clean, and do laundry. Most of the "traditional" cultures on earth are full of "momma's boys". Fathers do little. They definitely don't play "superdad" like in America. America/Canada are the only places where I see so many fathers acting like mothers. They change diapers, clean the house, and basically nurse their kids.
