"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

i know this girl has never been with someone like me and she always seemes excited, shes really cool, gorgeous.
the only problem is that she used to be with one of my good friends.
i like this chick alot but i dont know if itll upset him. he used to complain about her all the time when they were together. now that shes single he always want to lead her on and the complains because she was paying attension.....

so how does one go about this?

confrontation? do it behng the back? i need some help.....

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I suggest that if you really do give a crap about your friend then you let him know ahead of time. Guys tend to be very particular about their exes sometimes, it seems as if it was a territorial thing. if not, then do it behind his back, you shouldn't have to give explanations to anyone of your actions and if he's such an a$$ to this girl he shouldn't even care...

you picked the right user name.

but to original poster.

read the bible. forget about this girl.

you're asking this question because you know its wrong. you want to be told its ok.

forget about the girl. read the bible.

you'll meet 50 girls you like better then this girl over the first year that you truly spend trying to pick up.

and as a bonus, you'll keep your mate, and he'll probably respect you a hell of alot more.

actually i think he knows like 90% certain he knows that something has already happened. he just doesnt know that i know.
i just want to avoid drama and what not.

the first time we hooked up we were drunk at club and danced the night away till we got to my place.....

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

there ya go..
you're already an *******..

let me play it out for ya.

your jimi, your friend is mike, the hoe is jonathon. (its more fun giving her a boy name)

mike and jonathon are dating. mike breaks up with jonathon. everyone moves on.
except jimi.
jimi does the sly and makes out with jonathon.
jimi also has feelings for jonathon, and due to this, jimi is going to get himself in trouble.
not only with mike.
jimis other friends, peter, michael and david will lose respect for him and side with mike.

but thats ok.

jimi has jonathon. he's happy.
and he'll stay happy for 18 months. (if he's lucky). then he'll realise he has his mum, his dad, and jonathon. and he'll think, damn, i've thrown so much away.

he'll be, what we call here, another. frustrated. chump.

only worse. he knows enough to know that he's a chump. and he still settles for it?

figure that out.

my friends already know and didnt seem to have a problem with it. they pretty much say "well he was a d**** to her"
my friends know how i am with women, its just a matter of wether i should tell my friend or go as it is and think nothing of it.

I was in the same exact position as you were... and he and I never spoke about it, even though he knew and I knew he knew something was going on. I found out from other friends that he didn't care at all. Even still we maintained a decent friendship and never discussed her. She and I are history but she still believes we are close friends so it's difficult juggling both friendships...haha...

I will say this, if your friend has moved on and is happy, he probably won't care too much... if he is single, it might still bother him. I don't think you are not a man if you don't ask your friend for permission to be with her, the thing is a woman is property of no one... not even an ex... it's unfortunate but true.

If any of my X's started to date any of my friends, maybe it would bother me, but I have no right to stop them. To me that would be even better, because then I would be able to move on a lot easier.

it would bother me, because then she would alwas be around more.

You shoulda asked. It seems like he doesn't care all that much, but it still woulda been the right thing to do.

I wouldn't go down this path if its a good friend.

Of all the women out there you had to find one that dated your good friend?
