"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I was thinking about my future career and I I am sure that most people dont consider this when choosing a career, but I am. Its the sex factor. In other words, its how well the job helps you become a DJ.

For example, a firefighter has to be brave and strong and those qualities can easily translate into Dj material and so can people in the Armed Forces, since they are taught to fight fear and such, and when these people go clubbing or dating they already have the masulinity aspect down pat.

In comparison on an average, a person who is doing computer programming will tend to be geeky and introverted and reserved and wont excel in dating, unless he can overcome the job's and natural tendencies of his persoanlity that attracted him to that job in the first place.

The job or career we choose has alot to do with our personalites and what we are like.

So I was thinking what jobs would help cultivate the DJ spirit/mindset which is basically about conquering your fear.

the obvious are firefighters, police, army.

But what about some desk jobs, because they tend not to pay as much, its not fair I have to have my balls cut off just to make some money. I would be a firefighter in a heart beat if they made like 70k.

Anyway all I can think up of are

DJ:
Fire Fighter
Army
Police
Lawyer
Media/Acting

Not Dj:
Engineering
Computers
Doctor

Any "geeky" ocupations will not help you foster Dj mentality, and thats just my opinion. And by geeky I mean any career that involves isolated and complicated and intricate work away from people.

By no means does it mean engineers cant be pimps.

Any more suggestions?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Shouldnt you be concerned about the thought of doing that job everyday and not hating your life? Yea, think thats a little more important than 'DJ' jobs. I hate these kind of post.

I would've thought a doctor would be considered a DJ job, it's high profile and well respected in society, plus you need to have good people skills to succeed.

I'd take Doctor off your bottom list jack. Why do you think Docs ALWAYS trade up after they get an M.D. after thier names?

I'm a filmmaker. Add me to the top list.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
