"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Hi

I am ne to this board and am trying to get this part of my life handled after years of being the cute, harmless, nice guy.

I have been doing the bootcamp started by The_Shezzler and am on week 3's exercises, starting coversations.

I recently moved to a new area and still have to organise a proper flat warming so this is one I have been using, especially at the bus stop coming back from work.

"Hi, I need some input on something, do you know this area well?"

It doesn't matter if she does or doesn't. The next thing is to say.

"I have to organise a party and I'm trying to get an idea of a good bar for everyone to mee to start off in before heading to the flat."

If she can tell you the names of some bars then you know the kinds of places she, and girls like her, might hang out. I mention this because two girls I talked to like this both mentioned the same bar.

Even if she doesn't know the area she'll probably try and help out a little bit and even if she can't help you have already broke the ice if you want to change the subject.

Another one to use is in the supermarket. Assuming you know how to cook a few meals, get the ingredients together. Then if there's a girl you want to speak to you can say something like this.

"Hi, I am trying to cook (an impressive dish) and I've got x, y and z but I'm sure I'm missing something. Any ideas?"

In both these cases you are demonstrating some value/social proof ie organising a party, cooking something other than a ready meal.

They might not get you a #close etc but they are good ways off building confidence by starting conversations with random women.

Just a couple of ideas.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Word. Don't open with excuses. These openers will get women to talk to you, but once you try to get their # or do anything physical you look weird. It's like, why did you fake being interested in that other thing when you were really interested in her?

Field test this stuff before you post it.

I did. Like I said, I am following the bootcamp routine and week 3 is opening and holding a short conversation with the kind of girl you would be attracted to. It's not about getting numbers or anything, just getting comfortable with talking.

Week 4 is rejection time and I imagine after that it comes down to getting numbers etc.

Guess I should have put this in a bootcamp thread for other newbies.
